BUY MICRO DESERT NIGHT (NS) ONLINE A range of styles, features, and finishes are used to create the Custom. It is often chambered in.45 ACP and has a M1911 design. Other calibers that it has been made in include.38 Super, 10mm Auto, 9mm Luger, and.40 S&W. The caliber of each firearm is stamped on the barrel and is visible with the slide in battery (fully forward).
A five-inch barrel is found on the full-sized 1911 known as the Custom. Steel constitutes the slide and frame. With only one full-length guide rod being used in the Custom, press checks are only possible because to the serrations on the slide’s front.
A shorter ejection port, a modified trigger, a beveled magazine well, an extended thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety are among the characteristics of the Custom that were previously only found on customized model 1911s, despite the fact that it is considered Kimber’s base model. [1]
The Custom II model has replaced the first-generation Custom model. A firing pin safety is built into the Custom II. Due to the firing pin being prevented from contacting the chambered cartridge unless the grip safety is depressed, this feature is meant to provide users additional peace of mind that the gun won’t fire if dropped.
