#1 Daniel Defense M4A1 Semi Auto Carbine 5.56 NATO 14.5″ Barrel 30 Rounds RIS II Overmolded Stock and Grip, The M4A1 RIS II rail system, which has been continuously employed by the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) since 2005, serves as the foundation for this Daniel Defense M4A1 rifle. A 16″ permissible barrel length is achieved by permanently attaching the Daniel Defense flash suppressor to the 14.5 cold hammer forged M4 profile barrel. The redesigned Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip are also included with the M4A1. For maximum comfort and traction, this exclusive stock and grip have an overmolded texture. Elite operators and sport/competition shooters will both be quite familiar with the Daniel Defense pistol grip since it has a grip angle that is similar to that of the renowned 1911 handgun.
